Paris Saint Germain Player Salaries 2017/2018 (Contracts Revealed)

99% of the professional football teams around the world are worth less than what PSG paid for Neymar’s world record fee of €222 million. The move has sent shock waves around world football but Qatar Investment Authority-owned french outfit Paris Saint Germain has rose to elite of european football in last 10 years after huge investments were made from the Qatar based company. We breakdown entire PSG squad contracts and known salaries.

At the start of 2015-16 season Paris Saint Germain became the professional team with the highest wage bill not only in football but sports in general. PSG’s current squad average wage is €131,100 a week (£101,898) or if we put it yearly, the average annual salary of PSG squad is around £5.3m per year making them the highest paying team in the world and that is set to increase with Neymar Jr’s massive contract where he is set to be paid over €500,000 a week after tax. Paris Saint Germain has made their intentions clear with Neymar’s signing that they mean business. Winning French domestic titles are not enough and they are going all out to win Champions League and their squad is as good any other European heavyweight going into the new 2017-18 season.

Transfers 17/18: Neymar’s transfer broke all kinds of financial records in football and unless Messi decide to move away from Barcelona, this is set to stay as the most expensive football transfer for quite sometime.
